We are Anne & Ben. Happily living in Wisconsin with a couple of big, drooly, labs. We equally love jumping in the car for a road trip to random anywhere USA or recently hopping the pond to Europe to try a piece of cake in Budapest.

We are adventurous... to a point. That's why we selected the Rick Steves Best of Prague & Budapest in 8 Days tour. We are big PBS nerds, er, viewers, and watch Rick's show. While one of us believes planning our vacations is 49 percent of the fun, it can be overwhelming. The concept that someone else does most of the work and teaches you the ropes, yet having lots of time to seek out something just for us was quite appealing.

The question we were asked most often, why Prague and Budapest? Answer: Why not!

#Truth: It fit within our work schedule and when your bucket list is an long as ours, that is how you pick destinations.

Our focus is to share what the experience was like so you won't see too many photos of the major sites. We can't compete with Instagram! This is our attempt at showing you the "backdoor" of our trip including some SPOILERS (you have been warned!). All photos were taken with our LG phones, so nothing too special. Most of all we hope you are inspired to visit this fascinating part of the world.
